The Austrian Central Bank selects the UnRisk Consortium to develop a comprehensive derivatives pricing and analytics environment. Searching for innovative technologies for the valuation of a broad variety of derivatives and structured products with hundreds of concrete instruments, the Central Bank has selected the UnRisk PRICING ENGINE for Mathematica and entered into an agreement with the UnRisk Consortium to develop the required customized environment. Many instruments can be perfectly configured and customized, when they are described in Mathematical language. Pricing and analytics environments shall offer reliable models, as well as fast and accurate solvers, but also a descriptive language for the intuitive construction and discussion of even complex financial instruments. This summarizes the requirements expressed by the Mathematical Finance experts at the Central Bank. The UnRisk PRICINE ENGINE was selected, because it meets this future looking design requirements, by integrating a computationally optimized numerical engine realized in C++ into Mathematica's powerful Mathematics environment. The development does not require conventional programming. Thus, the customized environment for pricing and analytics for this comprehensive suite of derivatives and structured products will be implemented in unexpectedly short time. UnRisk is a complete solution for traders, risk managers and treasurers, who require immediate pricing and analytics of financial derivatives. Quantitative analysts, product designers and risk controllers, who search for quick modeling- and customization capabilities will benefit from UnRisk's descriptive development environment. Its flexibility, precision and velocity is powered by Adaptive Integration a proprietary method of MathConsult. With three front-ends (point&clickable forms, Excel workbooks, Mathematica notebooks), front and back offices can collaborate on single source models but in task-oriented user interfaces. |
